YMCA Junior Nuggets Basketball

Established in 1993, the YMCA Jr. Nuggets is the largest youth basketball league in Colorado. The Jr. Nuggets basketball programs serve over 8000 boys and girls, ages 3-17 years in leagues, clinics and camps year round all over the Metro Denver area. With the resources provided by the YMCA and the Denver Nuggets, coaches, parents, and officials offer a basketball program that emphasizes fun, personal excellence, skills and healthy competition. The programs include children from all ethnic, geographic and economic backgrounds.

The League builds athletic ability and shapes leadership skills with the assistance of Nuggets players, alumni and coaches, attendance and recognition at special Nuggets games, and pre-game player clinics at Pepsi Center.

The Jr. Nuggets program is supported in part by grants from the Denver Nuggets Community Fund. Since 1993, the DNCF has granted more than $1,000,000 in support of this vital youth sports program.
