Jeff Morris is entering his 14th season with the HEAT and his sixth as Vice President of Finance. Morris works closely with Executive V.P. and CFO Sammy Schulman in various accounting areas, including cash management, treasury, general accounting, financial reporting and insurance. He first joined the HEAT during the 1997-98 season as Controller, where he supervised the HEAT’s accounting and finance departments and implemented the construction and general accounting of the AmericanAirlines Arena before being promoted to his current position in 2005.

Prior to joining the HEAT, Morris spent seven and a half years as the South Region Chief Financial Officer for Fort Lauderdale based environmental engineering company, Metcalf & Eddy, Inc.

A native of St. Petersburg, FL, Morris graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University. Morris resides in Miramar with his wife, Lisa, and their four children, Deborah, Jaclyn, David and Joshua.
